You are:
A respected manager and a trusted advisor to clients. You look at the entire project to understand the big picture, but you also know how to use data to fine-tune the process. This helps you manage risk and keep projects moving full-steam ahead. Clients turn to you, because they value your knowledge of the industry and know you’ll stay ahead of compliance issues.


The work:

· Support development of regulatory responses to address findings, including definition of action plans and evidence/artifact requirements

· Lead teams to execute regulatory programs including establishing governance, communications and managing risks/issues and escalations

· Develop frameworks to assess current state, identify gaps, gathering business requirements and developing enhancements

· Develop implementation plans, including adoption strategy and monitoring/reporting oversight

· Document program roles and responsibilities, including communication and escalation protocols

· Plan, prepare and lead cross-functional stakeholder forums to drive project execution [including executive forums and steering committees]

· Assess risk and develop mitigation strategies for top-tier financial services organizations

· Support and share knowledge with project teams and use analytics to find new ways of working that put people and process first

· Manage project teams, deliverables and budgets across workflows

· Attract new business by creating thoughtful proposals and building strong client relationships

· Show clients where and how to benefit from a more flexible workforce

· Help grow the practice by championing Accenture initiatives and products

· Stay on top of how new regulations and technologies affect our clients’ businesses – and ours


Travel:
For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Here’s what you need:

  • Minimum of 5 years working in risk and regulatory compliance within the banking, capital markets and/or insurance industries (including thorough knowledge of regulatory response / remediation approaches as well as specific regulations impacting Financial Services – i.e., the Basel Accord, Dodd Frank, FBO, FINRA, SEC, CCAR, etc.)

  • Minimum of 3 years in risk and regulatory management consulting from a competitive firm serving the financial services industry

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience that includes: Regulatory, compliance and/or operational risk domains

  • Bachelor's degree

Bonus points if:

  • You’ve brought in new business and negotiated complex deals

  • You’ve worked with technology vendors in risk and/or compliance (and they still like you)

  • You've got an MBA after your name or another type of advanced degree

  • Strong project management and communication skills (e.g., defining scope, setting project timelines and milestones, driving deliverables, identifying risks, and managing issues)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
