SAP Data and Cutover Manager

As a NEO SAP Data and Cutover Manager, you will be a key leader in the success of SAP transformation programs. You will be responsible for:
• Leading the SAP data migration and cutover strategy across business units for Vietnam Country Deployment of a Global Template.
• Acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all data-related aspects, including extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation of data from legacy systems to SAP.
• Collaborating with business, functional, and technical teams to define cutover scope, wave plans, and runbooks.
• Ensuring alignment of the data migration approach with project timelines and quality standards.
• Designing and implementing data validation and data quality frameworks.
• Managing cutover rehearsals, mock runs including review and follow up to remediate findings from previous rehearsals.
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to minimize business disruption during go-live.
• Managing and mentoring team members, driving cross-functional coordination, and ensuring knowledge transfer.
• Reporting on data migration and cutover KPIs, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Applying industry best practices, tools, and automation in project execution to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Must have
Program/Project Management Excellence
• Overall min 8 years work experience with at least 3 years of experience leading complex IT programs, including SAP implementation projects.
• Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Strong ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and dependencies.
SAP Expertise
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures across modules such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Supply Chain (MM/SD), and Manufacturing (PP/QM).
• Proven experience with SAP Data Migration tools, including SAP BODS, LTMC, SAP Data Services, and Migration Cockpit. Experience with Syniti is a bonus.
• Solid understanding of Cutover planning for SAP go-lives, including mock run cycles and rollback strategies.
Data Strategy & Governance
• Proficiency in data governance frameworks, Master Data Management (MDM), and Data Quality tools.
• Understanding of data security, privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR), and data retention policies.
Technical & Analytical Tools
• Advanced skills in SQL, Excel VBA, Power BI/Tableau for data reporting and transformation.
• Experience using project tracking tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, and MS Project.
Leadership & Communication
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong decision-making, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
Certifications:
• PMP or Prince2 Certified.
• SAP Certified Application Specialist (Data Migration or S/4HANA).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist.
Soft Skills
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills using data visualization dashboards.
• Experience working in diverse, multicultural environments with multi-location teams.
