THE WORK:
- You'll support the Rail & Transit Industry team and regional Industry leads to develop strategic partnerships for target growth accounts to accomplish annual sales and revenue goals.
- You’ll support sales efforts, pipeline development, coordinating with leadership, marketing and growth operations teams.
- You'll identify, lead, and collaborate with industry contacts and focus on developing major pursuit efforts for the Rail & Transit market from identification through submission.
- You’ll develop and maintain client relationships, monitor upcoming projects, and drive proposal strategies to differentiate the company from competitors.
- You'll support the management of proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements and deadlines, content creation, subsequent follow-up requirements, which may include oral interviews and preparation.
- You'll generate new leads and screen potential business opportunities
- You'll attend pre-proposal meetings as required
- You'll assist the Rail & Transit Industry team with identifying and meeting with potential teaming partners and clients to position for opportunities
- You'll attend and participate in industry outreach and informational events to gain local contacts and identify possible project work for the Company
- You'll connect with professional contacts to promote Company and personal brand
- You'll assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and assist in the development of market materials, presentations, graphics, as required for external purposes
- You'll liaise and network with internal staff, as well as contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, consultants, and agency transit staff
- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, or in an Accenture office or center.
- With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in business development, sales, and market leadership within the infrastructure and capital projects space
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- C-suite level client relationships within Rail & Transit industry
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.
- Prior BD leadership experience as a Director, Vice President or in a similar role, managing a specific market or business sector.
- The ability to communicate effectively internally and externally
- The ability to take a deep dive to gain customer insights and offer insights and potential solutions
- Built and maintained exceptional relationships at all levels within the organization and with clients
- The ability to lead and work in a team environment or independently. ·
- The ability to take initiative and make sound decisions. ·
- The ability to multitask and prioritize workload with multiple clients and non-billable work. ·
- The ability to implement short-term goals under the direction of the Airports Industry Captain in order to help the organization achieve its vision. ·
- A detail-oriented and process-driven approach to the work, and are able to build on that foundation to develop actionable plans ·
- The ability to be a self-starter that is reliable, responsive, professional, and handle confidential information with discretion and trustworthiness.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.
