Adobe's 3D & Immersive organization is seeking a Technical Writer to write, manage, and act as the main owner of documentation for Substance products.

What you'll Do

  • Plan, write and edit operational and instructional procedures for web-based publications and user sites.
  • Work with product managers and engineers to turn ideas and concepts into finished written work; translate complex topics into easy-to-digest, plain language content.
  • Produce content for embedded user assistance technology within the product.
  • Demonstrate acute technical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Help Adobe users feel empowered to learn our products and self-solve troubleshooting issues.
  • Demonstrate exceptional people, writing, and communication skills with a willingness to incorporate ideas and feedback from others.
  • Work across teams with geographically remote team members.
  • Prioritize and complete projects with minimal supervision.
  • Approach your work with a global mentality: advocate for designs and language that internationalize well, and work with our translations team to improve quality.
  • Produce content that conforms to the company documentation and quality assurance standards.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of technical writing experience
  • Solid understanding of 3D and Adobe Substance products is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Git, markdown, Visual Studio Code, and agile methodology.
  • Collaborate well with product managers, developers, and other team members
  • Able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
