The Opportunity

As a Junior Service Designer, you will enable service experiences that are designed around the people that use them! This role is both strategic design thinking and design doing. This is a multidisciplinary design role where you will use the full range of your experience, exercising your skills in service design, research, strategy, and product design.

What You’ll Do

• Craft and deliver compelling stories and design solutions to our team and partners that communicate insights, concepts, plans and impact.
• Analyze service journeys and propose actionable recommendations to improve user experience or operational efficiencies. Support the alignment between user experience and backend processes.
• Plan and implement studies to uncover pain points across the service journey using both quantitative and qualitative approaches.
• Identify new opportunities to improve systems and processes with technology. Collaborate with our UX designers to prototype a service experience and participate in research to evaluate assumptions.
• Facilitate workshops that uncover customer/employee/user problems, identify enterprise opportunities and reveal new solutions
• Work with the team to define success metrics for a service design initiative and track progress post-launch.
• Advocate for the benefits of service design with our colleagues and collaborators to help them understand the value

What You Need to Succeed

• Service Design or other degree in a related design field; or equivalent degree required with an expected graduation date of December 2025 – June 2026
• 0-2 years of experience in specific role/skill/field(s)
• Strong presentation, storytelling and communication skills.
• Experience in facilitation and workshop development.
• Research skills to uncover employee needs and challenges.
• Ability to prototype and design concepts in different media and tools (Miro, Figma, Adobe products, video, etc)
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $62,200 -- $129,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
