The challenge

The Solution Consultant provides storytelling and technical expertise so that decision-makers understand how Adobe solutions create engaging experiences. Digital Media (Creative Cloud) Solution Consultants listen to a government agencies’ needs, and provide the ideal solution that will empower and delight the people they serve. They can clearly articulate solutions and how they empower teams and add value in the government landscape.

What you’ll do

As a Solution Consultant, you will partner with sales account executives to position Adobe’s Creative Cloud and Document Cloud solutions to federal government agencies' business problems. Role includes the following:

  • Leading and executing the technical sales process.
  • Understanding customer mission and initiatives through discovery
  • Delivering customer presentations in-person and remote.
  • Innovating and creating solutions using Adobe software application.
  • Providing solution demonstrations.
  • Conducting proof-of-concept evaluations.
  • Providing technical validation and assistance to government requests
  • Staying current on emerging creative technologies

What you need to succeed

  • 7+ years prior experience in design/multimedia or pre-sales role.
  • The ideal candidate has recent experience using or selling the Adobe Creative Cloud applications - specifically Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat. Other solutions include Adobe Express, Firefly, FrameIO, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom – in a presales capacity.
  • Experience working with or for the government
  • Exceptional presentation and storytelling experience
  • Clearance is a plus
  • Experience in 3D or Animation is a plus
  • Driven to lead multiple projects
  • Experience in training and user experience design
  • Passionate about bringing creative design experiences to the government
  • Understanding of government agency security infrastructure, and enterprise software packaging and deployments
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • No college degree required

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $170,300 -- $280,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
