The Opportunity

Adobe’s Digital Strategy Group (DSG) is a specialized advisory team that helps enterprise customers accelerate transformation and unlock measurable business impact through Adobe technology. The emergence of Firefly Foundry—Adobe’s enterprise grade platform for developing private, deeply-tuned generative AI models—has created a new category of customer value.

The Director, Value Consulting — Foundry will play a critical role in shaping and quantifying that value. This position partners with strategic customers to define the business impact of Foundry’s AI model development, content supply chain transformation, and next generation creative workflows.

You will serve as a senior advisor to executive stakeholders, translating complex AI capabilities into compelling, data-backed business cases that accelerate decision-making and deal progression.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Customer Engagements

  • Lead value-driven engagements with C-suite, SVP, and VP-level stakeholders to understand business objectives, current content operations, AI maturity, and transformation goals.
  • Translate Foundry’s technical capabilities (e.g., private multimodal model training, content production acceleration, creative workflow redesign) into clear, quantifiable business outcomes.
  • Prioritize the needs of customers, understanding business specific challenges and goals ensuring alignment to Adobe solutions.

Value Proposition & Business Case Development

  • Build global standardized financial models to support the technical/functional/business benefits of the Adobe Foundry solution.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Solution Consulting, Product, and Foundry GTM to ensure alignment on assumptions, pricing constructs, and customer-specific use case scoping.
  • Develop Foundry success stories by working closely with post-sales engagement teams.

Advanced Analytics & Insight Generation

  • Use financial modeling, benchmarking, productivity analysis, AI-driven insights, and customer data (when available) to articulate the business impact of Foundry’s model development tracks, Media Intelligence, and creative automation capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the business case across adjacent Adobe solutions (e.g., Content Supply Chain, Creative Cloud, GenStudio).

Thought Leadership & Executive Storytelling

  • Develop and present compelling narratives that frame the strategic value of foundational AI models in enterprise content creation and delivery.
  • Influence customer vision by bringing forward market insights, industry trends, and competitive intelligence relevant to AI adoption in M&E, CPG, Retail, and other content-intensive industries.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Foundry Product Management, Engineering, and Applied Science teams to incorporate the latest capabilities into customer value frameworks.
  • Partner with Field teams to prioritize opportunities, shape deal strategy, and support executive alignment.

Value Methodology & Asset Development

  • Create a global standard for Value Benchmarks and structured financial models.
  • Help define standards for measuring value realization post-launch in partnership with Customer Success.
  • Enable the broader field organization on value narrative and adoption.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Experience & Expertise

  • 10+ years in value engineering, enterprise B2B selling, management consulting, creative agency or a similar customer-facing strategic role.
  • Deep understanding of AI-driven transformation, generative AI (especially multimodal models), digital content creation workflows, or cloud-based enterprise platforms.
  • Strong financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and business case development experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide and influence senior-level stakeholders through complex decision cycles.
  • Experience with database capturing of value/benefit categories and impact.
  • MBA preferred

Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills—able to distill complex concepts into clear, compelling business narratives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous challenges and build advanced Excel models.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner across product, engineering, and sales teams.
  • High comfort operating in emerging spaces with evolving product roadmaps, pricing frameworks, and customer use cases.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $185,900 -- $328,925 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
