We are seeking an experienced business development leader to recruit and engage Fashion and Fitness brands for Amazon.
Amazon Fashion & Fitness is building the future of online retail innovation. The Principal Senior Business Development Manager will advocate internally and externally on behalf of Amazon. With proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task and a proven record of driving category growth. This leader must be an effective driver and communicator in working with some of Amazon.com most important future vendors as well as with internal colleagues and cross-functional leaders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail and a high level of flexibility and commitment.

As a customer-obsessed, fashion enthusiast, you will influence and build relationships with top brands to drive revenue and increase selection. You are deep on retail trends and understand how retail fits into the online ecosystem. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple teams.

Using your deep knowledge of retail and fashion and a solution-oriented mindset you will develop opportunities for Amazon within the Fashion & Fitness vertical. You are an excellent oral and written communicator and you possess an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions. You are highly organized and have the ability to work closely and constructively cross-functional teams. You're particularly adept at developing strong, one-to-one relationships and possess a track record of successful negotiation.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

New York, NY, USA


- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope


- Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
- Experience interfacing with customers (Enterprise, SMB, and Startups) and ability to convert customer requirements to high level architecture solutions to build on

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $254,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
