DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Business Development Manager to engage with top Social, Music, and other entertainment app developers by creating, activating, and negotiating bespoke partnerships with them across Amazon Devices.

The Amazon Devices teams designs and builds customer-obsessed consumer electronics including Amazon Fire TV, Fire Tablets and Echo Show. It is revolutionizing the way people watch content inside and outside their homes. We believe it remains day one and need your innovative ideas to continue growing our device business.

Key job responsibilities
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships that drive competitive advantages, delight customers, and support strategic objectives
• Work closely with internal engineering and product teams to identify, evaluate and drive feature adoption among top partners.
• Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of partnerships and work with appropriate leaders and across all functional areas of Amazon to execute on the relationships.
• Drive partner success through building account plans, roadmaps and working closely with cross-matrix teams including: Legal, PR, Marketing, Product, Technology and Advertising.
• Recruit and mentor other business development and partner management professionals.


About the team
CAPE manages the relationship with third-party app and game developers responsible for creating software features across Amazon-branded and affiliated consumer devices. CAPE supports a portfolio of Amazon products including Fire-branded devices (Fire TV, FTV Edition, FTV Automotive, Fire tablets), Amazon Appstore for both Windows 11 and Android, and Echo Show multi-modal devices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 6+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience developing, leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience with technology transformation initiatives
- Bachelor's degree
- MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
