As a result of continued growth, we are searching for a 3PL manager to support our External Fulfillment & Special Operations team.
The role will be responsible for 3PL building operation abroad, and will require extensive travel, including prolonged stays away from home. Therefore high degree of mobility is mandatory.

The role includes interfacing with the Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers and being the main POC for all internal teams such as Transportation, Retail and Supply Chain. The main tasks will be management, control and direction for the 3PL operations. The main objective is to continuously improve the level of service that the 3PL provides to our customers. In addition, the 3PL Operations Manager will be responsible for both launch and improvement projects within the External Fulfillment Special Projects and Expansion team.








Key job responsibilities
Your Responsibilities:
• Manage and control performance, cost and capacity of External Fulfillment Logistics provider (3PL)
• Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance, maintain and develop KPIs and SLAs with 3PL
• Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Prioritize projects and software feature requests, evaluate and set stakeholder expectations
• Ensure for each integration that requirements and resources both internal / external are available to deliver success
• Work closely with technical development teams to deliver features which are customer-focused, scale able, auditable and iteratively developed
• Possesses combination of practical and intellectual skills and an ability to shift, and adapt to different tasks that vary between complex analyses and hands-on project and operations management
• Strong focus on quantitative data working with large datasets and able to use the appropriate software for this scale

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in (Industrial/Mechanical) Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven operations leadership experience in a similar fast-paced process driven manufacturing, production or distribution/logistics environment
• English (C1 Level) and either German, French, Spanish or Italian (C1 Level)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Project

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong data analysis skills - Ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data
• Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels
• Past experience or study of startup operations and/or 3PL environments
• Team player who can facilitate successful project work, operating to deadlines
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of Lean techniques such as Kaizen or Six Sigma
• Technical expertise - Solution-driven approach to systems & processes
• Experience with analytical tools such as data warehouse tables: SQL / Visual Basic / Power BI
• Masters degree in (Industrial/Mechanical) Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $168,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
