Amazon.com seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key partner for the high growth Shopping Video business. This position will support Video expansion efforts into new locales and content types, owning WW consolidation and reporting, and act as the SME for marketing, monetization, HC and video opex allocations. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial modeling and analysis during requirements planning and business reviews, product development, and new product launches. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, detail oriented, and has the ability to work well with cross-functional teams including partner finance teams, engineering, product management, ad operations, and analytics. He or she will simultaneously be focused on the business operational metrics while thinking big about new business and monetization opportunities. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable with analytics and diving deep to understand the impact of to service growth and customers.
Primary Responsibilities: - Lead forecasting efforts of revenue, operating expenses, monetization initiatives, headcount, and resource allocation.
- Develop new metrics to assess the health of the business in terms of monetization and opex controllership.
- Lead financial analyses that assist and influence the business development by evaluating the business and competitive landscape, understanding customer needs and value drivers, and crafting high impact growth strategies for the business.
- Uphold and enforce an environment of ethical practices and strong financial controllership.
- Own financial and goal planning by setting working backward timelines for business operating reviews, facilitating monthly financial reviews with leadership, and consolidating WW P&Ls.
- Act as a subject matter expert for opex allocations, chart of accounts, and headcount management and tracking.
- Partner with product teams to anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans; measure and analyze direct and indirect program impacts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
