A new business unit at Amazon is seeking a principal program manager to lead our launch of a new, consumer-facing product. Our organization is comprised of a multidisciplinary group of engineers, product managers, UX designers, and operations personnel engaged in a mission to revolutionize an industry.
Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate has a track record of delivering major launches, transforming customer experience, working with partner teams, with a passion for building solutions for customers that are simultaneously practical and delightful. You must operate with agility and scrappiness in solving new and complex programs, and operate fluidly amidst ambiguity. You have the experience and ability to set common goals and rally alignment across a large number of stakeholders both internal and external. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with product launches and completion of full product lifecycle (concept through GTM)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $111,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
