DESCRIPTION

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Finance Manager to be a key member in our Global Services Deals Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon. As a Finance Manager, you will work closely with business leaders to develop financial models and analytical insights to assist in evaluating new business concepts, turning insights into operational measurements, and identifying paths to improve and scale the overall Global Services Deal development and approval process. You will also provide strategy support to the business partners.

The successful candidate will have shown experiences in past roles influencing business owners and supporting strategic decision-making in a rapidly evolving environments. This role requires a self-starter with strong modeling skills, a strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. SQL skills a plus. This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, this role requires strong business sense and capability to independently drive business partnership.

Key job responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include: Providing financial deal support which includes deal modeling, forecasting and reporting. Expanding modeling and reporting automation to enable team ability to scale. Other areas of focus:
- Build financial framework and models for new business ideas

- Provide strategic partnership to key business initiatives and investment

- Present financial summary and business insights to senior management

- Tighten internal controls for deal pricing and investments
