Additionally, this role will concentrate on enhancing AWS's collaboration with Educational Service Agencies (ESAs) across the United States, enabling them to offer a diverse array of services more effectively to their constituent school districts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Thinking: Identify customer and business needs, and develop scalable strategies to seize new business opportunities.
- Execution Excellence: Beyond conceptualizing and designing strategic projects, you will be responsible for their seamless execution, implementing new solutions in conjunction with the K-12 sales and vertical teams.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with Sales Account Managers, Solution Architects, Partner Development Managers, EdTech Account Managers, and Marketing Teams to drive cohesive efforts.
You should have a demonstrated passion for working with K-12 school districts and institutions to ensure that they are setup for success. You should have experience building strong, deep relationships with customers, organizations, and education technology providers. You should possess business and/or education backgrounds that enable you to drive engagements with School Superintendents, Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), and educators; as well as a technical background that enables you to easily interact with system administrators and network engineers. You should have a demonstrated ability to dive deep into business problems, propose solutions, and overcome technical challenges in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate demonstrates strong ownership, teamwork, and grit. As a BDM, you will drive and own the strategy for specific areas within the K-12 Vertical and you will be responsible for opportunity generation within that area. This role will passionately promote the AWS cloud technology solutions, enable the technology ecosystem supporting education providers, and address changing industry needs.
