DESCRIPTION

The L6 Sr. Event Content Program Manager (Sr. Event Content PM) in Selling Partner Communities (SPC) is responsible for leading the end-to-end content strategy and operations for Amazon's premier seller event, Amazon Accelerate, as well as other seller-facing events. This role is accountable for streamlining the content management infrastructure and mechanisms that power the sourcing, curation, and distribution of exclusive, business-critical content for over 15,000 seller attendees across geographies, knowledge levels, and selling needs.

The Sr. Event Content PM manages a complex, cross-functional program with significant impact. They possess deep expertise in the seller journey and are responsible for designing the operational framework that drives how 20+ Amazon organizations collaborate to deliver impactful content. This includes establishing content taxonomies, streamlining development workflows, and identifying turnkey systems to enhance efficiency.

This role requires navigating ambiguity, solving complex problems, and proactively driving process improvements. The Sr. Event Content PM is responsible for driving quality and consistency across the seller events portfolio, serving as the resident expert on content management architecture. They engage partners across the seller events team to build scalable mechanisms for sourcing, scoring, and distributing compelling content that resonates with and empowers Amazon's diverse seller community.


Key job responsibilities
• Responsibility for creating and executing the end-to-end breakout content strategy for major seller-facing events like Amazon Accelerate. This includes sourcing, curating, and distributing exclusive content from across Amazon to deliver a unified learning experience for sellers.
• Managing a complex, cross-functional program with significant impact. The role requires deep understanding of seller needs to design the operational infrastructure and content taxonomy to deliver timely, relevant, and engaging content.
• Driving efficiency and proactively creating processes to maintain high content quality standards across the seller events team. Serving as the team expert on content management architecture, systems, and development workflows.
• Engaging with internal partners to identify and build mechanisms that streamline the content development process, and collaborating with leadership to align content investments with business goals.
• Expanding the global reach of seller events by regionalizing content and launching new flagship conferences in emerging Amazon store regions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience managing complex content projects
- Strong content strategy and information architecture skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholder relationships and needs in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to solve problems and work without close direction in ambiguous environments.
- Good judgment and effective communication
- Experience defining and executing against program requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Comfortable tackling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- 5+ years experience managing content projects of medium or high complexity
- Experience working as part of a global team supporting multiple languages
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience defining and executing against program requirements
- Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
