Amazon Ads is an integral part of Amazon, providing customers unlimited discovery of products around the world that go beyond what they may normally encounter and raise the bar on what they expect from products, brands, and their shopping experience.

The Amazon Ads Shopper Experience team innovates and designs on behalf of our customers. We are relentlessly focused on improving how customers experience ads around the world. We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to help lead, define, and improve how brands and shoppers interact on Amazon. Amazon Ads UX team members work with global product, marketing, branding, science, and other tech team partners to deliver compelling customer experiences for Amazon.


Key job responsibilities
- Analyze customer problems and oversee the design of delightful solutions that meet measurable business goals.
- Work across UX and product teams to devise, launch, and iterate on the best customer experiences.
- Work closely with product and business partners to develop a shared vision and lead a process to define and design experiences that deliver on those shared objectives.
- Partner with technology teams to ensure we leverage the scale offered by our platform without compromising on core experience principles.
- Present design work to partners and leadership for review, feedback, and sign-off.
- Measure the success and effectiveness of UX innovations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with UX design of complex workflows

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
