DESCRIPTION

We're seeking an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to lead our focus on transforming network security across Amazon's fulfillment technology network. In this role, you'll own efforts to establish and maintain world-class networking standards, driving improvements in prevention, detection, and recovery of operational incidents.



Key job responsibilities
- Lead cross-organizational initiatives to develop and implement automated network security metrics and monitoring systems

- Drive adoption of Operational Excellence (OE) best practices across multiple teams, including LSE management, dependency handling, and software development standards

- Coordinate with senior leadership to establish and maintain a culture that prioritizes network security and availability alongside cost efficiency

- Design and oversee implementation of automated decision-making and remediation systems to replace manual processes

- Partner with teams across Amazon who own 100s of tier1 services to standardize solution implementation with security in mind.
