As the Global Business Strategy & Development Lead for the Twitch Brand Partnership Studio (BPS), you will drive the long-term business potential of the studio through strategic planning, modeling, and analysis across innovative initiatives, internal and external studio partnerships, and revenue operations. This is a critical new role that serves as the business backbone for BPS’ vision, building foundational business strategies across the studio’s content, creator, and technology to drive Amazon and Twitch’s impact in the creator sector.
Key job responsibilities
Role Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Scoping of new revenue opportunities and business plans across content, technology, and creators for BPS and BPS in collaboration with other Amazon/Twitch teams
Lead on external/3P studio partnerships (content partners, IP rights, tech partners): intake/outreach, developing initial proposals, negotiations, implementation plans
Industry research and feedback loops, procuring client business trends/analysis, to inform studio positioning and customer strategies
Represent BPS in strategic business discussions and workstreams, detailing business requirements for the studio within Amazon/Twitch
Strategic planning: content and tech revenue modeling, budget and investment recommendations, multi-year business outlooks and evaluation
A day in the life
This role owns the delivery of the day-to-day studio business narratives and plans, liaising on reporting with Finance, Ad Sales, and GTM; is a key stakeholder in cross functional senior leadership discussions and workstreams, advising on where the studio should prioritize resourcing and investment including AI initiatives; and structures creative monetization opportunities to maximize revenue and innovation. The right candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding and expertise of content & media technology, with a particular focus on creator media and technology, as well as showcase experience in strategic business development and partnerships. Success in this role is measured by several outputs, including launching new studio initiatives that drive incremental revenue opportunities, cost efficiencies, or influential innovative collaborations with other Amazon divisions.
