Description
We're seeking a skilled Marketing Manager with a passion for online retail marketing and/or grocery (in equal parts). The Marketing Manager is responsible for the customer experience and supplier marketing relationship online for their categories. They are a CX expert who understands customer profiles and how to engage with them through various merchandising levers. They will own strategic growth categories within their business, influence initiatives, and improve existing processes. This includes developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing Marketing relationships with vendors, and overseeing the go-to-market strategy for new products and launches.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the grocery industry, as well as experience in marketing and brand management. A successful candidate will be data-centric, adept at driving innovative campaigns, and relentlessly devoted to customer experience.
Key job responsibilities
- Own and manage relationships with key vendors in assigned categories, overseeing marketing spend and promotional activities.
- Develop and implement category-specific marketing strategies aimed at driving growth and customer engagement.
- Take full ownership of customer experience (CX) for designated online specialty pages and events, continually optimizing for quality and customer experience.
- Manage end-to-end planning, implementation, and analysis of marketing campaigns, both vendor-funded and in-house.
- Establish and maintain cross-functional workflows, in coordination with various internal teams to execute marketing initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, securing alignment on category-level initiatives and reporting on performance metrics.
