This Storage and Data Specialist position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP) focusing on Global Financial Services (GFS) organizations. ASP Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business impact and technical expertise to help our customers succeed and transform their businesses. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our GFS customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Industries Team as a Sr. Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist focused on helping Global Financial Services to build their enterprise data strategy and implement their open data foundation and architectures on AWS. This role will focus on driving strategic GTM initiatives that position AWS as a foundational platform for interoperable, multi-engine, high scalable and efficient data and AI architectures built on open table formats such as Apache Iceberg, with AWS data analytics and storage services serving as key components of these modern architectures.

Open data architectures are becoming increasingly important as customers seek greater flexibility, interoperability, and reduced lock-in across analytics and AI environments. AWS is uniquely positioned to help customers build modern architectures that enable multiple analytics and AI engines to operate against shared open data foundations. A modern data platform on AWS enables financial services organizations to be able to enable key business use cases like KYC, customer 360, fraud analytics, cross sell and up sell, regulatory reporting etc. which heavily depend on enterprise-wide data. This role will help define and scale the Enterprise AI-Ready Data Platform Strategy GTM strategies focusing on GFS, elevate customer engagement models with CDOs, and scale effective cross-functional field motions that support this vision globally.

This role is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and innovation partnering with the largest and most strategic customers in Global Financial Services. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to- market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. ASP teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture.

Position may require the ability to travel 25% of the time, as needed.

Key job responsibilities
Develop and execute GTM strategies that accelerate adoption of storage services and interoperable open data architectures on AWS

Position AWS storage and analytics services with multi-engine analytics and data-ready AI environments leveraging open table formats such as Apache Iceberg

Identify and scale repeatable customer engagement models, enterprise architectural ready GTM assets, and data modernization strategies that drive adoption of AWS data services

Partner across AWS data, storage, analytics specialist, and partner organizations to define and operationalize best practices for interoperable and hybrid data architectures

Build scalable field enablement, positioning, and guidance for open data architecture strategies and multi-engine analytics and scalable storage patterns

Analyze customer adoption trends, competitive dynamics, and market signals to identify growth opportunities and influence GTM priorities
