The Senior Account Executive, Local Ads is a strategic, prospecting-focused sales role within Amazon's Local Ads business. This individual is responsible for identifying and engaging local advertisers through both agency partnerships and direct advertiser relationships — owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through campaign close and partnership growth. At this level, the Senior Account Executive also drives strategic initiatives that scale the business, mentors junior team members, and influences cross-functional processes and best practices.

Key job responsibilities
Prospect and engage local advertisers through agency and direct-advertiser channels, with a focus on high-value, strategic accounts and scalable growth opportunities
Close new business and manage advertiser campaigns to exceed advertiser acquisition and revenue goals, consistently delivering above-quota performance
Build and maintain a broad network of senior-level relationships with local advertisers and agencies, serving as a trusted strategic advisor
Navigate complex advertiser and agency situations with confidence and clarity while proactively shaping market strategy, responding to advertiser feedback, and strengthening competitive positioning
Identify and drive process improvements, best practices, and scalable playbooks that elevate team performance and operational efficiency
Mentor and coach junior Account Executives, contributing to team development and a high-performance culture
Maintain rigorous Salesforce hygiene, including timely meeting inputs, accurate opportunity creation, and consistent pipeline management to ensure data integrity and visibility across the business
Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams to influence roadmap priorities and improve the advertiser experience
