New York, NY, USA
Posted on Feb 7, 2025

Artsy is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Spanish-speaking Account Executive to join one of the most exciting companies in the art world at the intersection of fine art and technology.

The Account Executive will manage a portfolio of art galleries across North and Latin America. As an Account Executive, you will report to the Sales Lead for your gallery cohort and will be responsible for growing your book of business through gallery retention and pricing alignment. You’ll promote client best practices to drive artwork sales for galleries and foster client loyalty.

This is a target-oriented team where your contributions have a direct impact on Artsy’s bottom line. All account executives have individual targets and KPIs to achieve quarterly. The role requires an individual who is able to work with a discerning clientele, hold high level strategic conversations, and deliver sales at scale. You will leverage internal data to make informed decisions and identify opportunities to enhance ongoing partner engagement with Artsy's platform. This is a hybrid role with office attendance in NYC required three days/week.

What You’ll Do at Artsy:

  • Maintain active relationships with Artsy's gallery partners, directly managing a portfolio of 180+ accounts

  • Clearly manage a full retention portfolio, finding opportunities for upsells, aligning pricing, and mitigating gallery partner churn

  • Provide strategic support for managing galleries’ online profiles and inventory on Artsy, identifying opportunities to maximize gallery engagement

  • Maintain organized systems for tracking, scheduling, and administrative tasks to ensure optimal efficiency.

  • Oversee a full pipeline of opportunities and drive high velocity through the sales funnel using Artsy’s core sales systems (e.g., Salesforce)

This role is a fit for you if:

  • Professional fluency in Spanish and English required

  • You have 3-5 years of work experience in a B2B sales or account management role with a proven track record in client retention, pricing conversations, new product sales, and upsells

  • You’re extremely self-motivated and solutions-oriented with a drive to succeed. You maintain a positive outlook in difficult situations, demonstrating resilience

  • You have excellent verbal and written communications skills in a customer or client-facing role

  • You’re detailed-oriented and data-driven, using metrics to drive your performance and maintaining administrative cleanliness

  • You are currently authorized to live and work in the United States. This role will be based in New York City.

This role is unlikely to be a good match if you….

  • You shy away from sharing direct feedback, whether to internal or external partners

  • You feel uncomfortable with de-escalation and handling difficult conversations

  • You struggle with organization, administrative work, and strict adherence to targets

What success looks like in your first 3 months:

  • Build trusted client relationships to promote best practices, reduce churn, align pricing, and drive platform sales

  • Meet key performance metrics to drive ROI for gallery partners on Artsy’s platform

  • Collaborate with the team to develop strategies that improve client engagement

  • Learn and manage administrative systems (e.g., Salesforce) with clarity and efficiency

  • Maintain a curious and proactive mindset, continuously improving your skills and delivering positive client outcomes

We know no one is a perfect match on paper, so if you’re passionate about this role, please apply! We’re excited to learn how your skills, experiences, and insights could make a difference.

Please Note: We can only accept applications from those eligible to live and work in the New York metropolitan area. We are unable to sponsor visas for this position. This is a hybrid role with office attendance required three days/week.
