About You

You're curious, analytical, and energized by turning messy data into clear insights that drive decisions. You love the satisfaction of writing a clean SQL query that answers a question the team didn't even know they had. You're comfortable working independently, but you also thrive when partnering with teammates to understand what they need and delivering answers that actually move the needle.

You're eager to learn how a business really works—not just the numbers, but the context behind them. You want to understand why metrics matter, not just how to pull them. This role is based in New York City, and you'll join our team in the office 4-5 days per week. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL queries to answer business questions and support decision-making across teams

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports that help Sales, Transact, Operations, and Product track performance

• Partner with stakeholders to understand their needs, scope analyses, and deliver actionable insights

• Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in our data and surface them to the team

• Document your work—queries, definitions, and methodologies—so insights are repeatable and scalable

• Support ad hoc analyses and data pulls for time-sensitive requests

Qualifications

• Some experience working with data—whether through internships, coursework, or a prior role

• Strong SQL skills and comfort working in a data warehouse environment

• A clear communicator who can translate data findings for non-technical audiences

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a knack for catching what others miss

• Experience with BI tools like Hex, Metabase, Looker, or Tableau is a plus, but a willingness to learn is more important

• A curious, growth-oriented mindset—always asking "why" and looking for ways to dig deeper
