Beam is on a mission to shift $10B from mission-led brands to high-impact nonprofits by connecting brands and customers over the values they authentically share, driving stronger loyalty. We're building a community of mission-led brands like IKEA, &pizza, Dig, Frankie Collective, where customers can make ~1% of every purchase go to a nonprofit they choose, from a set curated to reflect what the brand stands for. As customers track their impact towards goals as a community--like funding 1K lbs of produce for local families--customers become invested in what our partners stand for and choose brands on Beam over less impactful options. This results in a 20-30% in AOV and a 2x lift in purchase frequency. As we create everyday feedback loops around giving, Beam catalyzes users to do more for the causes that matter to them, too--70% start supporting a nonprofit they discover through our platform with their own time or money. Our work to turn “consumer behavior into cash for nonprofits” has been recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30 for Social Impact, SXSW, Cannes Lions, and more.
