The Role:

The Containerboard Market Research Sales Consultant is responsible for sales and business development activity associated with the Green Markets Box Report, a bi-monthly research offering for corrugated box producers, buyers, and other aligned industries. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with the ability to develop a strong sales pipeline for the Green Markets Box report within the North American corrugated industry.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Develop new business associated with the Green Markets weekly report for both single-user subscriptions and corporate accounts (multi-user, multi-site licenses)
  • Maintain a current base of business associated with the Green Markets Box Report for both single-user subscriptions and corporate accounts (multi-user, multi-site licenses)
  • Identify and solicit new targets for Green Markets products and services
  • Represent Green Markets at trade and association events and conferences
  • Provide continuing, proactive input and customer feedback regarding the development Green Markets’ products
  • Contribute to all budgeting and forecasting processes associated with sales activity
  • Utilize salesforce management application(s)
  • Engage with customers and prospects primarily via telephone and video conference

You’ll need to have:

  • 4+ years of direct sales management experience in corrugated or aligned industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • A proven track record of sales achievement with the ability to successfully navigate challenging selling situations, to negotiate under duress and to be a problem-solver
  • Expertise in sales techniques (both strategic and tactical) and high skill level in customer relationship management and engagement
  • Experience with sales automation software applications
  • Experience in sales communications media (primarily phone, email)
  • Strong organizational, administrative and time-management skills

We’d love to see:

  • Experience with NetSuite CRM preferred

Salary Range: 40 - 50 USD Hourly

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
