Bloomberg runs on data. Our products are fueled by powerful information. We combine data and context to paint the whole picture for our clients, around the clock—from around the world. In Data, we are responsible for delivering this data, news, and analytics through innovative technology—quickly and accurately. We apply problem-solving skills to identify workflow efficiencies and implement technology solutions to enhance our systems, products, and processes.
Our Team:
Our team is responsible for acquiring and maintaining the full life-cycle of equity corporate actions data— from inception of public companies through IPOs, to capital distributions like cash dividends, to financing of M&A activity, and everything in-between in the equity instrument lifecycle. Data management expertise, cross-functional collaboration, deep domain knowledge, and thoughtful technology application are critical elements in delivering the high-quality data to our well established client base and what they expect from this foundational dataset. Our corporate action data is the main building block in Bloomberg’s Equity product offering.
