Bloomberg Electronic Trading Solutions (ETS) offers clients access to a suite of premier multi-asset trading venues, services and workflows accessible from either interacting directly with the Bloomberg terminal or alternatively leveraging Bloomberg DOR. Bloomberg DOR provides participants with API access to Bloomberg's broad range of liquidity across FX, cash bonds, CDS, IRS and ETFs. As our trading participants grow more sophisticated, many seek greater efficiency by accessing this liquidity and negotiating and executing trades within the Bloomberg trading environment from their own in-house or 3rd party technology by leveraging Bloomberg DOR.

What's the Role :

The DOR PM will be responsible for building a strong understanding of the DOR marketplace, develop and deliver market leading DOR offerings and communicate constructively with both internal and external key stakeholders. The DOR PM will work closely with Bloomberg engineers and Bloomberg ET salespeople, develop strong relationships with key clients with a view to gaining a strong understanding of opportunities and deliver market leading DOR solutions

We’ll trust you to:

- Drive the overall DOR business strategy and product development.

- Communicate product vision, business plan, and development status with key internal stakeholders, senior management and market participants.

- Follow technological trends and developments in the electronic trading space to identify opportunities for business expansion.

- Design and prioritize solutions and project manage them to delivery and adoption.

- Be responsible for the API specifications including extending them to support further client workflows.

- Monitor, analyze, and solve for regulatory developments, ensuring that the business meets its regulatory obligations.

You'll need to have:

- Strong technical background to include some knowledge and experience of the FIX protocol and an appreciation of Python programming language.

- Strong understanding and knowledge of the Electronic Trading trading business and market structure.

- Ability to analyze competing platforms and propose strategic decisions based on overall market trends.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build bridges with stakeholders: Bloomberg engineering, ET sales, other product managers and clients.
