What's the Role?

As a Global Business Aligned Talent Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders, driving forward-thinking talent strategies that are grounded in business context and focused on building leadership capability, enabling transformation, and achieving measurable organizational outcomes.

You will operate at the intersection of business strategy and talent development, leveraging enterprise-wide resources from the Talent Development Team while shaping and implementing tailored solutions to meet evolving business needs across regions and functions.
This strategic role will allow you to influence at the highest levels, engage across complex matrixed environments, and help shape the future of talent at Bloomberg.

We'll Trust You to:

  • Talent Strategy
    • Develop and lead the Talent Strategy for the Enterprise by integrating business-specific insights and priorities from the businesses and teams you support globally. This includes aligning talent initiatives with broader enterprise goals, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within each business unit, and leveraging these insights to create impactful, forward-looking talent solutions that drive organizational success.
  • Act as a Strategic Talent Advisor
    • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent colleagues, and senior leaders globally to diagnose organizational needs and co-create actionable talent strategies that drive long-term business value.
  • Shape and Implement Talent Solutions
    • Collaborate with the Talent Development Team to align on enterprise-wide priorities while driving the localization and execution of initiatives such as high-potential development, succession planning, career growth frameworks, and leadership pipeline readiness. Deliver bespoke strategic initiatives for where business and talent expertise is essential
  • Build Leadership Capability at Scale
    • Enable leadership and talent development by guiding initiatives that strengthen managerial effectiveness, cultivate high-potential talent, and foster inclusive leadership—ensuring alignment with business objectives and cultural context.
  • Enable Strategic Conversations
    • Facilitate leadership alignment and cross-functional collaboration through individualized engagements, team workshops, and organization-wide forums—designed to promote reflection, enhance clarity, and accelerate progress toward strategic and where appropriate Enterprise wide objectives.
  • Advise on Organizational Design & Change
    • Provide strategic input and partnership on org design, change navigation, and workforce development plans to ensure agility, resilience, and long-term readiness across functions and regions.
  • Influence Stakeholders & Build Trust
    • Serve as a credible global voice in senior talent conversations, influencing stakeholders with data-informed insights, practical recommendations, and a business-first mindset.
  • Trusted Coach to HR and the Business
    • Act as a coach and sounding board as required.
  • Be Agile
    • Adapt in a constantly changing and fast paced environment

You'll Need to Have:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent strategy, leadership development, or related HR disciplines within complex global organizations.
  • Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor, influencing and aligning senior stakeholders across diverse regions and business units.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating and thriving within matrixed, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect talent strategies directly to organizational goals.
  • Experience working within a technology organization, or directly supporting a technology related client group
  • Experience leading or contributing to large-scale change, talent management, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal, consulting, and coaching capabilities with an ability to manage sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.
  • Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and embedding inclusive practices into talent strategy.
  • A balance of strategic thinking and operational discipline, with an eye for detail and a drive for impact.

We'd Like to See:

  • Prior experience in HR Business Partnering and/or organizational consulting roles.
  • Coaching certifications and/or experience advising senior leaders on talent and development.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Hogan, Insights, EQi, SLII, or other development frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision-making.
