As we continue to innovate and expand our consumer subscription business, we are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Paid Media Manager to join our Consumer Marketing team. This is an opportunity for a strategic and hands-on marketer to contribute significantly to the growth of our business, driving acquisition and revenue through paid media initiatives. This role is for a results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about performance marketing.
As a key member of the Paid Media team, this role will be instrumental in executing our acquisition strategy and contributing directly to business growth. The ideal candidate will be a vital player in a dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities with ease and using strong analytical skills to turn complex data into actionable insights. We're looking for a paid media leader and a creative problem-solver with a genuine passion for news and current events.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Contribute to Strategy: the development and execution of the paid media strategy to accelerate subscription growth across all key channels (e.g., search, social, programmatic, OOH, etc.).
- Manage Performance: Manage and optimize campaign performance, budget allocation, and reporting, tying all paid media efforts directly to broader business objectives and revenue targets.
- Collaborate Strategically: Work closely with internal teams, including brand, product, data, and lifecycle, to unlock cross-channel growth opportunities and integrate paid media into holistic marketing campaigns.
- Manage Agency Partnerships: Serve as a key point of contact for agency partners, overseeing project timelines and day-to-day workflow to ensure alignment with our growth strategy.
- Innovate and Test: Champion a rigorous "test and learn" approach, identifying new platforms, audiences, and creative strategies. Translate campaign learnings into a scalable, data-backed growth roadmap.
- Provide Key Insights: Use a deep understanding of the paid media landscape to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for leadership and key stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a focus on paid media acquisition and performance campaigns.
- Proven experience in managing multi-channel, full-funnel campaigns, with direct hands-on expertise in at least one of these core channels: search, social, or programmatic.
- Deep analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret and leverage data to make strategic decisions.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills that enable the presentation of complex strategies and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A strong understanding of the evolving digital media landscape, including industry trends, regulatory changes, and marketing attribution models.
- A passion for news and the media industry, with a pulse on the latest digital trends and a desire to bring new ideas to the table.
