What’s the Role?
As a Product Manager for AV, you will define, evolve, and execute the product vision for the Bloomberg employee audio visual (AV) ecosystem, including conference rooms, events spaces and offices globally. You’ll work at the intersection of technology, security, and user experience to ensure our Global AV & Media Technology is modern, scalable, employee-centric and secure.
You’ll collaborate with Engineering, CTO, IT operations, security and compliance teams to create consistent, high-performing experiences across physical and virtual endpoints. Your work will directly impact how thousands of employees securely interact with their tools, access internal systems, and stay productive from any location.
We’ll Trust You To:
  • Define the AV product strategy and roadmap, aligned to broader employee experience, IT and security goals.
  • Own and evolve the product roadmap for AV, Collaboration Space Technology, Video Conferencing Solution and Event Space/Production Technology by incorporating key stakeholder requirements and end user needs.
  • Translate business, technical, and security requirements into a cohesive and intuitive end-user AV experience
  • Create and lead the product backlog, prioritize initiatives that will deliver timely and optimal business value
  • Identify and prioritize key initiatives across our AV landscape.
  • Drive execution across the AV stack by collaborating with multiple teams.
  • Lead backlog grooming and roadmap planning across core components including
  • Drive continuous improvement through end-user feedback, performance monitoring, incident analysis, and change impact assessment
  • Partner closely with InfoSec and Risk to define and enforce AV security requirements, including network security and patch hygiene.
  • Develop user-facing training, comms, and documentation for major AV rollouts and upgrades.
  • Serve as a primary voice in communicating platform changes, support paths, and new capabilities to internal stakeholders and employees.
You’ll Need to Have:
  • 6+ years of product management or technical program management experience, with 10+ years focused on commercial AV.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into strategic initiatives and vice versa
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering and commissioning AV systems.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and driving work across global teams
  • Experience managing life cycle management solutions in an enterprise environment
  • Deep understanding of the design and implementation of conference spaces, training facilities, event spaces, etc.
  • Experience with IPTV and Digital Signage solutions - Audio DSP, video processing, control system platform proficiency (i.e. Biamp, Q-Sys, Extron Christie, Crestron)
  • Familiarity with video conference tools such as Zoom, Webex, MS Teams, etc.
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder collaboration and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
  • AV Industry certifications (CTS-D, DMC, etc.)
We’d Love to See:
  • Experience with deploying modern audiovisual solutions and integrating AV and IT systems.
  • Familiarity with design, journey mapping, and user experience.
  • Success driving product decisions with data from telemetry, feedback, and user feedback loops
  • Background in risk & compliance controls, including audit participation.
