Our Team:
The Content Acquisition (CA) team is an integral part of the Data department. We are responsible for managing, acquiring, and integrating content and data from exchanges, brokers, sell-side, buy-side, and other types of providers to drive the value of the Bloomberg Terminal and downstream enterprise products. We lead the governance, cost, and quality of the data we acquire, and we collaborate with the wider company to develop our data acquisition strategies ensuring we are aligning with the agendas of our key partners.
The OTC Pricing team drives Bloomberg’s access to high-quality pricing data across global asset classes. Our Relationship Managers lead strategic sourcing and negotiations with critical market participants, while our Technical Account Managers ensure that every dataset we onboard is accurate, resilient, and continuously enhanced. Working closely with partners across Bloomberg, we design and execute data acquisition strategies that anticipate market needs and strengthen the value of Bloomberg’s content ecosystem.
The Role:
We are seeking an accomplished and inspirational leader to oversee our OTC Pricing teams across Asia while serving as a unifying lead for multiple CA verticals in the region. In this role, you will act as the face of CA for APAC-based stakeholders, ensuring cohesive execution across OTC Pricing, Exchanges, Research, and other regional Data initiatives. You will drive strategies that strengthen our content acquisition capabilities, optimize commercial outcomes, and increase the impact of Bloomberg’s OTC datasets.
You will work closely with regional Team Leaders across CA and broader Data leadership to translate APAC market needs into prioritized, actionable initiatives, ensuring we have the right resources, headcount, and strategic focus in each local market. You will also provide guidance and alignment support to our Exchanges and Research teams, breaking down silos and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture across the region. This role also includes representing Bloomberg as a senior presence with strategic content partners.
We’ll Trust You To:
  • Define and execute a regional strategy that strengthens Bloomberg’s OTC pricing offering and aligns with global priorities.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination for APAC across Exchanges, OTC Pricing, Research, and other CA verticals, ensuring cohesive and consistent execution.
  • Possess a winning mentality that will help you build and develop a high-performing team culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Drive commercial and strategic partnerships with key market participants, including brokers, exchanges, and other content partners—acting as senior representative when leadership presence is required.
  • Break down silos and cultivate strong internal and external relationships across APAC and global teams.
  • Anticipate market and regulatory trends (“see around corners”) to proactively position Bloomberg’s content acquisition strategy.
  • Collaborate across the Data department to optimize data quality, accessibility, and impact.
  • Ensure the right resource allocation, prioritization, and strategic focus for the region, elevating APAC opportunities to the Head of Content Acquisition.
  • Challenge existing processes and assumptions to identify smarter, more scalable ways of acquiring and managing data.
You’ll Need to Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, STEM or degree-equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, ideally overseeing teams across functions or product lines.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial markets, with deep understanding of market structure and the application of OTC pricing and reference data across buy-side, sell-side, and trading workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing strategic relationships and commercial negotiations with market data partners.
  • Proven ability to translate vision into measurable outcomes and actionable goals for regional teams.
  • Strong people leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing, customer-facing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-regional execution, alignment, and strategic communication.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across complex functions, geographies, and seniority levels.
  • Strategic mindset with a bias for action—comfortable making decisions with imperfect information in fast-moving markets.
  • Willingness to travel throughout APAC and globally (NY/London) as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English.
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation.
