WHAT’S THE ROLE?

The Facilities Infrastructure Site Manager provides daily oversight and leadership of the New York City office

facilities infrastructure. This role is responsible for managing the operations and maintenance of electrical,

mechanical, and fire/life safety systems, while ensuring high levels of operational resiliency, safety, and efficiency.

The role includes responsibility for managing operational expenditures (OPEX) and supporting capital

expenditure (CAPEX) projects. You will work closely with Bloomberg’s Facilities Operations teams as well as with

other internal partners including Engineering, Network Operations, Security, News, Broadcast, and more.

WE’LL TRUST YOU TO:

• Lead day-to-day infrastructure operations with a focus on resiliency and continuous improvement

• Manage critical systems including generators, UPS, HVAC, electrical distribution, and fire/life safety

• Oversee change management, risk assessments, and operational procedures

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors

• Ensure safety, compliance, and documentation standards

• Manage ticketing, reporting, contracts, and on-call incident response

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of facilities or critical infrastructure experience

FINANCIAL & VENDOR MANAGEMENT

• Manage OPEX and CAPEX projects and expenditure

• Approve purchase orders, invoices, and vendor contracts

• Manage vendors and their performance and compliance

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

• Experience with critical infrastructure systems

• Knowledge of CMMS, BMS, UPS, generators, HVAC, and fire systems

• Strong documentation and change management skills

PREFERRED

• Multi-site facilities infrastructure experience

• AutoCAD / Revit familiarity

• IT and network infrastructure exposure
