Posted on Apr 14, 2026
About the team:
The Company Financials team builds the products, platforms and tools that power company financials across the Bloomberg Terminal, our APIs, and Enterprise products—including flagship functions such as Financial Analysis (FA), Analyst Recommendations (ANR), and Estimates & Models (MODL). We steward the full lifecycle of a data point: from ingestion and processing, through data modelling and taxonomy, to API design and front-end applications.
This is a mature, mission-critical product area supporting over 200,000 users globally and underpinned by a large cross-functional ecosystem spanning Product, Engineering, and Data. Company financial data is foundational across the Terminal and a key dependency for many other Bloomberg product teams.
The role:
We’re seeking a senior product leader to oversee Bloomberg’s Company Financials product franchise. This role is responsible for defining our product strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and managing the long-term evolution of a complex and highly scaled product ecosystem.
You will lead a team of product managers while partnering closely with Engineering and Data leadership across a 400+ person organization. You will be accountable for translating high-level business strategy into clear product direction, driving disciplined execution, and ensuring alignment across competing priorities.
This role is well suited for a structured, technically fluent product leader who can operate effectively within a mature domain—balancing the need for stability and continuity with a vision for how company financial data and workflows will evolve, particularly in the context of AI-driven change.
We'll trust you to:
- Own and evolve the product strategy and multi-year roadmap for Bloomberg’s Company Financials products, aligning with broader firm-wide objectives.
- Drive operational excellence by establishing clear processes for prioritization, planning, and execution.
- Build alignment across a wide range of stakeholder teams, clearly articulating trade-offs and ensuring transparency in decision-making.
- Develop deep fluency in Bloomberg’s financial data pipelines, taxonomy, and quality workflows; partner with engineering and data teams to improve system resilience and scalability.
- Reinforce and improve product discipline, including structured discovery, roadmap management, and clear product artefacts.
- Lead and develop a team of product managers, raising the bar on product thinking, execution, and accountability.
- Evaluate and respond to industry shifts, including the impact of AI on financial data consumption, analysis, and product interaction models.
- Communicate strategy, progress, and risks effectively to senior leadership.
You'll need to have:
- 7+ years of product management experience, including leadership of teams and large-scale product areas.
- Proven experience operating within complex, cross-functional environments involving Product, Engineering, and Data organizations.
- Strong technical fluency, with the ability to understand data pipelines, data quality frameworks, and system architecture, and to challenge engineering decisions effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational rigor, including roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution at scale.
- Experience managing or modernizing mature product lines with significant legacy components.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing senior leaders.
- Deep understanding of company financial data, accounting concepts (e.g., financial statements, KPIs), or adjacent financial workflows.
We'd love to see:
- Strong familiarity with Bloomberg workflows, or experience serving institutional investors, analysts, or similar client segments.
- Experience integrating or applying AI/ML capabilities within data or analytics products.
- Track record of improving team effectiveness through process, structure, and talent development.
- Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in a STEM field, Economics, or Finance; CFA is a plus.
