Workplace Security & Safety plays a critical role in supporting this mission by designing, implementing, and managing the technologies and programs that protect Bloomberg’s people and workplaces. The team oversees the security infrastructure that enables safe and resilient global operations, including employee badging and access control systems, visitor management platforms, emergency preparedness and response tools, and video surveillance technologies. By integrating physical security, safety programs, and advanced security technology, Workplace Security & Safety helps ensure Bloomberg offices worldwide remain secure, compliant, and prepared to respond to evolving risks.
We’ll Trust You To
  • Define and execute the product strategy for workplace security and safety systems within Bloomberg’s employee experience portfolio.
  • Deliver seamless, secure, and user-centric solutions for access control, and video surveillance systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and security regulations while driving intuitive access and monitoring experiences for employees and operations teams.
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into functional capabilities that integrate across multiple platforms and teams.
  • Work with product managers to decide which software updates or hardware integrations (e.g., new camera types or biometric scanners) should be prioritized based on client needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Security Operations to deliver high-availability, high-integrity systems that integrate hardware and software.
  • Partner with Facilities and Security Operations to align physical security tooling with real-world workflows and site logistics.
  • Engage with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure adherence to security, data protection, and physical access and surveillance regulations.
You’ll Need to Have:
  • 3+ years of experience in a product analyst, business analyst, or technical analyst role, preferably supporting enterprise IaaS solutions
  • Experience with CCURE 9000 software and associated hardware like Genetec.
  • Experience in administering and installing, configuring, and upgrading C•CURE 9000 systems, including managing user credentials, badge access, and alarms.
  • Experience analyzing access logs and security events to identify patterns, evaluate system performance, and create reports for stakeholder decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize insights from telemetry, support data, and user feedback
We’d Love to See:
  • Experience with integrated video and access control systems like Genetec across multiple sites or regions.
  • Familiarity with design, journey mapping, and employee feedback cycles.
  • Success driving product decisions with data from telemetry, hypothesis validation, and user feedback loops.
  • Passion for building workplace systems that are both highly secure and deeply employee-centric.
