Bloomberg runs on data. Our products are fueled by powerful information. We combine data and context to paint the whole picture for our clients, around the clock – from around the world. In Data, we are responsible for delivering this data, news and analytics through innovative technology - quickly and accurately. We apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative workflow efficiencies, and we implement technology solutions to enhance our systems, products and processes - all while providing platinum customer support to our clients.
The Team:
The Content Acquisition (CA) team is an integral part of the Data department. We are responsible for handling, acquiring, and integrating content and data from exchanges, brokers, sell-side, buy-side, and other types of providers to drive the value of the Bloomberg Terminal and downstream enterprise products. We lead the governance, cost, and quality of the data we acquire, and we collaborate with the wider company to develop our data acquisition strategies ensuring we are aligning with the agendas of our key partners.
Within CA, our Pricing Technical Account Manager (TAM) team is responsible for acquiring and handling content which is then made available to our client base. For clients, who use Bloomberg daily, having the ability to access this content in one place makes their workflow more efficient and helps them make more informed decisions. For the content providers, being able to deliver their content to a place where their clients actively operate, ensures greater market presence, and returns on their distribution effort.
The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Technical Account Manager to support Bloomberg’s South Korean OTC Pricing business from Hong Kong. Partnering closely with our Relationship Manager, you will handle the technical and operational relationships with content providers, ensuring OTC pricing data is delivered accurately, timely, and effectively. You will work with brokers, financial institutions, and other market participants across Korea and the broader APAC region to resolve technical issues, improve data quality, and enhance operational efficiency. The role requires strong relationship management skills, the ability to work independently, and comfort handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
By developing a deep understanding of provider workflows, technology, and business needs, you will help shape content strategies, improve client outcomes, and identify opportunities to evolve Bloomberg’s data, products, and workflows in line with changing market needs.
We'll trust you to:
  • Build trusted relationships with OTC pricing content providers by understanding their technology, workflows, and business objectives, and delivering exceptional service and support
  • Partner with Account Managers, Product, and global stakeholders to identify market trends, shape OTC pricing content strategy, and align account plans with business priorities
  • Optimize data ingestion and distribution workflows, improving data quality, operational efficiency, and content delivery through strong technical and workflow expertise
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in OTC pricing data, leveraging data insights to identify trends, content gaps, and acquisition opportunities
  • Independently drive initiatives, manage competing priorities, and proactively enhance the client experience and operational effectiveness
You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant data technology or financial field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Business proficiency or above in Korean and advanced written and verbal English communication skills, as you will be primarily responsible for Bloomberg's South Korean OTC Pricing business while collaborating daily with clients and internal stakeholders across multiple regions.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to build trusted partnerships, handle multiple priorities, and lead strategic technical and business discussions
  • Proven track record to collaborate across Account Management, Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to drive client and business outcomes.
  • Ability to quickly develop expertise in Bloomberg products, technology, and data workflows, and effectively communicate these concepts to content providers.
  • A proactive and dedicated attitude, with the ability to work independently, challenge the status quo, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
We'd love to see:
  • Experience using business intelligence and data analysis to identify trends, content gaps, and opportunities for product or workflow enhancements.
  • Experience using AI tools, automation, or programming languages to improve operational efficiency and workflows.
