What You'll Do
Our Tech Advisory & Delivery (TAD) team helps clients solve complex business and technology challenges and turn strategy into impact. As a TAD Intern, you’ll work directly with clients and BCG teams, combining consulting and technology expertise to shape and deliver practical solutions.
TAD Interns at BCG Platinion are:

You’re Good At:
- Working with clients and BCG teams to break down ambiguous business and technology problems and develop practical, actionable solutions
- Orchestrating technical delivery across business stakeholders, complex vendor landscapes, and technology ecosystems
- Diagnosing current-state technology and developing future-state IT architecture through technical requirements and evaluation (e.g., vendor landscapes, vendor assessments/selections, automation, technology cost-benefit analysis, eCommerce, platform valuation and design)
- Delivering data and digital platforms using techniques such as Agile, DevSecOps, and cloud-native architectures
- Developing technology strategies and roadmaps that enable clients’ business outcomes while considering technical trends within the market
- Designing and implementing governance frameworks to guide decision-making and address change in complex environments
- Communicating the differences and benefits among multiple cloud computing providers
- Synthesizing analysis and technical concepts into clear, client-ready recommendations and presentations
- Learning new technologies, business domains, and consulting topics quickly and applying that knowledge to client problems
- Collaborating across TAD and other BCG Platinion chapters when engagements require capabilities beyond your primary area of expertise
What You'll Bring
General / Education requirements:
- Master’s degree in information technology, engineering, business administration, computer science, economics, supply chain, logistics, system engineering, or a related field, graduating between December 2027 and July 2028
- Preferred: 2+ years of professional consulting or relevant professional experience solving business and technology problems
- Interest in a client-facing consulting career at the intersection of business and technology, working directly with client teams to solve complex problems and deliver measurable outcomes
- Expect regular travel to client sites and BCG offices based on project needs
Technology / Digital and Problem Solving Skills:
- Experience and/or ability to work directly with clients, BCG case teams, and BCG leaders to solve cross-functional business and technology problems across various industries
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn new topics and contribute across a variety of technology consulting engagements based on evolving client needs
- Support digital transformation efforts by developing strategy, approaches, and methods around:
- Software development and digital products
- Data and digital platforms
- IT architecture and data governance
- Cloud and infrastructure
- AI and GenAI-enabled transformation
- Experience with a wide breadth of tech and digital offerings:
- Tech/Digital Strategy
- Tech landscape assessments, including in post-merger integrations
- Tech/Digital modernization roadmaps
- Data topics including architecture and governance
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and GenAI
- IT benchmarking and cost takeout
- Cloud architecture and infrastructure strategy
- Ability to work creatively, autonomously, and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, client-ready recommendations and presentations
- Ability to act as a trusted team member and advisor, communicating effectively with clients and BCG case teams
- Strong learning agility, openness to feedback, and a growth mindset
While interns join TAD as their home chapter, project staffing is driven by client needs. Interns may work on engagements that draw on capabilities across TAD and other BCG Platinion chapters, providing exposure to a broad range of technology topics and colleagues.

The first-year base compensation for this role is between $110,000 - $120,000 USD.
