About the Role

As a Principal Site Reliability Engineer, you will be pivotal in ensuring our services' seamless operation and reliability. You will:

• Oversee system reliability and availability, ensuring high uptime for our applications and services.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for efficient infrastructure management.

• Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes, ensuring optimal deployment and scaling of applications.

• Handle package management using Helm to streamline Kubernetes application processes.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated integration and deployment.

• Monitor system performance and respond to incidents, maintaining system health and security.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Demonstrable experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar

• Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform

• Expertise in Observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki and OTEL

• Proficiency in CI/CD practices and Git tools

• Strong scripting skills, particularly in Bash or Python

• Knowledge of AWS cloud services; primarily AWS, with Azure or GCP a plus

• Understanding of networking, security, and database technologies
