Role Overview

The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee all aspects of the accounts receivable lifecycle, including invoicing, collections, and AR reporting. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance to ensure timely and accurate billing, reduce collection time, and improve cash flow.

This critical leadership role requires strong process ownership, attention to detail, team management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the accounts receivable team, including hiring, training, and performance development.
  • Own and optimize the end-to-end AR process from invoice generation through collection and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops and Customer Success to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Ownership of the full collections process and internal and external communication
  • Maintain DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) at desired metrics and implement proactive collection strategies.
  • Manage customer credit reviews and establish credit limits in line with company policy.
  • Design and deliver AR dashboards and aging reports for executive leadership.
  • Provide forecasted cash collections
  • Support NetSuite optimization projects related to AR.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive A/R or Finance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business model.
  • Proficient in NetSuite and experience with Salesforce..
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and communicate with executive leadership.
  • Comfortable managing a small team in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
