Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring that there is an effective communication cascade and channels that distribute targeted information at the franchise, business line and local team level
Writing internal communication updates and messages as per the Internal Communications plan or to support franchise wide activities as well as business line communication
Supporting the development and management of a social media program that establishes a credible platform for engaging external influencers and builds a base of advocates for Citi.
Working closely with communications, social media, government affairs and branding teams at the company and business levels to deliver maximum value and integration of campaigns
Providing internal communications support for major projects
Developing and managing bespoke employee events
Coordinating the production and editing of internal communication videos and podcasts
Source and develop content for regional publications as needed
Ensuring relevance of content for our country newsletter and intranet site as primary communication channels for staff
Evaluation of the internal communication program
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
10 + years of relevant experience
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
