The Project Senior Analyst is a professional with education and experience in the project management discipline. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence and convince others, including colleagues in other departmental areas. Experience with project planning is necessary to track deliverables and milestones toward closure. The Analyst is able to recognize risks and issues and to escalate when appropriate. Continuous learning is key to staying abreast of updated procedures, specific stakeholder needs, and technology applications .
Responsibilities:
- Supports project manager(s) in a large multi-faceted program or multiple projects at the same time, including writing the scope of work, developing project plans, facilitating communications, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies, tracking scheduled dates, preparing documentation, and reviewing lessons learned
- Gathers information and owns entry in tools as assigned, including PTS, iCAPS, and others
- Performs user acceptance testing on tools as required
- Runs reporting processes and implements changes when directed
- Compiles closure documentation and facilitates storage for record-keeping
- Verifies quality of project management input, documentation, and change requests
- Works closely with the Compliance and other business and function stakeholders.
- Articulates problems, brings the right people together to find solutions, and knows when the problem has been properly addressed and closed.
- Communicates project milestones, status updates, and existing or potential issues to all concerned parties
- Proactively follows escalation and change control process
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of project management experience, preferably in financial services and/or compliance
- PMP certification preferred
- Excellent technical skills, including MS Office applications and project management software
- Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals
- Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, calculation and reporting
- Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
- Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars

$98,960.00 - $148,440.00
