Fixed Income trade capture platform is Citi’s primary Fixed Income trading platform processing Derivatives, Cash and Exotics products with 2000+ Trading, Sales, Middle Office users globally. Role / Position Overview:

You are expected to demonstrate a combination of business aptitude, quantitative skills, and clear vision for an ideal regulatory reporting landscape. You will be driving large regulatory projects and are expected to deliver to regulatory mandates while continuously enabling scalable well engineered solutions that take the platform to the next level and result in a faster time to market. You are expected to work effectively with team comprised of senior business analysts, senior technologists and project managers. This role is a senior technical hands-on leadership level position responsible for the overall success of Engineering teams delivering to critical regulatory mandates.

The successful candidate would head an engineering focused team and lead the efforts to transition our application to micro services while delivering to critical regulatory asks.

What will you be doing?

• Lead the delivery for large regulatory mandates relevant to fixed income asset classes
• Work with Compliance, Citi Regulatory Operations heads, business unit managers, heads of businesses to understand industry regulations governing the business practices and provide solutions enabling business compliance in a timely manner
• Engage with external financial industry regulatory bodies as needed to represent fixed income trade processing technology
• Establish and maintain periodic communication to business and technology partners. Foster & maintain positive relationship with internal and external clients
• Work with offshore development, business and QA teams to deliver high quality solutions in a very timely manner with 0 defects
• Envision and enable soundly engineered solution designs that reduces platform complexity, aligns to micro service and same day deployment strategies, enables parallel test automation ultimately resulting in a faster, safer, stable delivery
• Take lead in planning the best practice solutions, tracking, execution and overall project management of the rollout of cross asset and multi-functional initiatives
• Mentor junior team members

What we are looking for:

• Strong academic record, ideally with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Science, engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in project deliveries and business analysis in in an international investment bank and/or major financial services firm.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Capital markets; Fixed income securities such as Treasuries, Swaps, Corporate bonds, Agency backed securities, OTC Derivatives
• Extensive knowledge of key industry regulatory bodies – FINRA, SEC, CFTC and various European regulatory organizations
• Knowledge of key regulations governing the fixed income products’ trading – Dodd Frank, MiFiD, Pre-trade transparency, Trade and Transaction reporting, Volcker and various others
• Experience in rolling out pre and post trade booking controls.
• Strong working knowledge of databases / SQL and ability to correlate the relational data to application functionality
• Proficient at delivering business requirements in BDD form and enabling test driven development
• Experienced in all aspects Agile Methodology (Scrum, Kanban) and usage of Atlassian JIRA

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
