Job Description:
The AVP Cash Management Sales Officer role will be centered around treasury and working capital sales support within our Industrials industry vertical in Citi’s Commercial Bank. The key duties include supporting the Industrials Global Solution Sales team in growing portfolio revenue, originating and winning new opportunities, defending existing business, realizing revenue from wins, and maintaining strong client relationships. These duties also include creating sales and industry specific materials, attending sales pitches, and directly communicating with clients.
The ideal candidate will take an entrepreneurial attitude to rapidly integrate into their role. The Cash Management Sales Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to team strategy. The individual needs to have strong communication and diplomacy skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct sales support to the Industrials Global Solution Sales team. Position is focused on revenue generating activities associated with the sale of Treasury Products and Services. Activities may include: preparing proposals and pricing analysis, assist with RFPs and presentations, coordinate exception pricing, and action data input for tracking pipeline and activity
- Partner with global, regional, and local client teams to grow their Treasury revenues; focused on finding new opportunities while building a trusted advisor status with Clients and Relationship Managers. Joins Global Solutions Salesperson on in person sales calls or conference calls when appropriate.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years commercial banking or relevant experience
Education:
- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
