Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the firm’s recovery and resolution plans and related capabilities. The plans require development of central strategies to support timely and effective execution of various financial, legal and operational actions during periods of unprecedented stress. Development of the plans requires coordination with stakeholders across the organization, including technology, finance, treasury, operations and businesses, to ensure execution readiness. RRP sets the requirements for and reviews plan documentation to ensure that it meets regulatory guidelines and is fit for purpose to guide management and board throughout both the planning and execution phases. RRP is also responsible for identifying required capabilities necessary to support plan development and execution and for establishing the framework to support capabilities testing. Finally, RRP oversees and manages the governance process associated with plan approval and submission along with regulatory engagement for plan review and challenge.

Reporting to the Head of RRP Governance and Reporting, the Reporting AVP is responsible for developing Steering Committee materials, automating reporting and managing project status reporting. They are responsible for supporting the Head of RRP Governance and Reporting with developing reporting solutions, governance materials, analyzes data including Capital and Liquidity metrics. The Reporting AVP will work closely with Finance, Risk, Treasury and Technology teams to support the delivery of Recovery and Resolution Planning initiatives. The individual will be able bean expert with developing management materials and developing tableau dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of target state RRP activities ensuring alignment with Management and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and enhance automated data workflows, leveraging data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Python.
  • Provide subject matter knowledge on expectations and requirements for liquidity capabilities, including financial analysis
  • Perform data quality checks and data reconciliation to promote alignment with firm and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain RRP Reporting for various key Governance forums including capturing meeting minutes
  • Support the tracking of the RRP Budget including forecast vs. actuals and develop automated reporting solutions
  • Develop project plans including managing RAID logs for program status reporting

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

  • Exercised proven PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with financial modeling, data analytics, or financial forecasting tools is a plus
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in software engineering finance, economics, or related fields
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Strong understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements in the capital markets domain.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality business requirements and functional specifications in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Exercised proven PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with financial modeling, data analytics, or financial forecasting tools is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail
