Job Overview

This 12 week internship program is designed to fully immerse interns in the day-today activities of Citi Cote d’Ivoire. The intern will receive real responsibilities to give them a sense of what you would be doing, day to day, as a full-time Citi employee. Interns will receive a foundation of knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable resource in Citi. Assignments focus on attaining core competencies in front and back-office units.

Main responsibilities

  • Document Collection and clarification for Know Your Customer Process

  • Respond to Request for Further Information on client transaction

  • Input to be provided on analyses of credit request- Financial statement analysis and recommendation.

  • Liaise with product partner to produce various report: client complaints, Pricing reviews, pipeline review

  • Respond to client queries and email correspondence in collaboration with Citi Service teams

  • Assist in collecting documents and contract to back central bank submissions for FX transactions

  • Support the coverage team in various administrative tasks

  • Handle various sectorial researches that would be beneficial RM decision making

Requirements

  • Graduate or Post Graduate candidates from leading institution preferably in penultimate year of study

  • Outstanding record of academic achievement and an interest in the financial services industry,

  • Strong attention to details

  • Commitment to personal growth and career development, a strong desire to learn, and success in team environments

  • Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape is a plus, but not required

  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills

  • Desire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industry

  • Unquestioned commitment to integrity ethical decision-making
