Job Overview

Job Purpose:

The Commodities Technology team requires a project/program management professional with relevant 10+ years (12+ without certifications) of proven track record of Delivery PM/PMO or Program/Portfolio Management within the Technology, Banking or Consultancy industry. In this fast paced environment, you must be able to prioritize tasks, work within deadlines, taking a pragmatic and considered approach, paying close attention to details, you will need to employ strong oral and written communication skills. Documentation preparation & review, strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile & Hybrid) required.

Job Background/context:

The Commodities SDLC team governs the Program/Project Management Quality Processes and supports the Program/Project managers to adhere to the processes. They are gatekeepers for ensuring 100% SDLC compliance with zero slippage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish best practices and Citi approved PPM procedures at organization PMO level
  • Work closely with global Commodities Program/Project Manager, PMQC team, R&C team and Business stakeholders.
  • Managing Agile projects and educating teams on PM processes and learnings.
  • Ensure 100% SDLC process governance across Commodities Programs/Projects.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders on a day-to-day basis for handling change release compliance and completeness of details/approvals.
  • Work closely with Release management team to remain updated on planned releases and CRs
  • Manage Program/Project BoW and ensure latest status updates are readily available for reference by stakeholders.
  • Manage Non Technical aspects of Project Management like milestone identification & tracking, BoW, CAP and any other Risk & Compliance related updates, Scrum calls and support Tech PMs on PM processes.
  • Manage release cycles, write project documentation and other project governance related tasks
  • Work on identifying manual efforts and automate the processes inline with the PMQC guidelines.
  • Coordinate with SPOCs and follow Program/Project status reporting protocol and report to Business on a regular basis.
  • Ensure 100% compliance in Program health checks and SPOT checks by PMQC teams
  • Implement changes in SDLC document templates and checklist that gets published by central PMQC periodically to stay compliant with Audit trails/checks.
  • Proactively driving teams for adopting best practices and adhere to compliance timelines.
  • Self-initiate, work productively when unsupervised and multitask across multiple concurrent projects

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Relevant experience in handling SDLC governance and processes for large Business Units.
  • Exposure to manage global stakeholders at all levels.
  • Have good knowledge of Audit and SDLC processes.
  • Experience in process governance and coordinating a solution for PM teams
  • Desire to implement industry best practices
  • Strong skills in management status reporting, and tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Office etc.

  • Scrum/Agile Certification
  • PMP or similar Certification
  • Process Framework Certification
  • Audit knowledge

Qualifications:

A good academic background, with atleast a graduate degree in any discipline. MBA, PMP or, any related PM certifications is good to have.

Competencies

  • Be a team player with good communication skills and the ability to discuss issues and arrive at consensus.
  • Be able to work with low levels of supervision.
  • Aptitude to understand problems and devise process improvement methods.
  • Ability to influence and drive the work to closure in timely manner
  • Flexible to work with people in multiple timezones.
