Business Unit Manager will manage multiple priorities on a day-to-day basis and must be able to respond quickly on time-sensitive deliverables. This role will require an individual with business knowledge, exceptional relationship management, project management, communication and influencing skills at all levels, and a strong focus on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic
- Acts as a trusted advisor to the Head of Investment Solutions and leadership team and addresses high impact strategic issues across the Investment Solutions business, working in close partnership with business heads and senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities and issues of strategic importance to the business.
- Lead projects across their lifecycle: identifying and structuring the problem, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, communicating project results, and obtaining buy-in for change.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with executives across the business.
- Identify opportunities to add value beyond the scope of formal projects.
- Previous project management experience: project planning & execution
- Ability to influence the organization and to affect and drive change up to the most senior levels.
- Efficiently solves complex, ambiguous problems/situations.
- Problem sovling skills, sound business judgment, and demonstrated result orientation.
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities; history of professional excellence and achievement.
- Participate/facilitate/influence business’ strategic planning.
- Develop presentations & materials for senior management as required – synthesizing / summarizing strategic pillars from across regions and businesses to provide critical information to senior leaders.
- Partner with Finance on Plan and key deliverables (business / CFO / CEO reviews) as well as with Finance on performance management and scorecard processes
- Direct involvement in key business priorities as needed, providing additional support to leadership team on core business focus areas.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Day-to-Day Operations
- Direct support to the Head of Investment Solutions on all key deliverables and engagements, including preparation of materials, talking points and briefing material for forums such as – leadership/EMT/Board meetings, regulatory engagement, investors/clients, media, internal offsites and other commitments.
- Manage cadence of operating rhythms and routines for Investment Solutions, inclusive of weekly, monthly and quarterly routines with clear objectives and governance structures with key stakeholders
- Ensure the right routines and tracking mechanism are in place to follow-through on key decisions and actions emerging from operating routines and discussions.
Qualifications:
- 10+ Years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Collaborative work style; effectively interacts with partners across organizational boundaries/hierarchies.
- Displays a leadership presence; commands respect and will earn trust of senior leaders.
- Multi-tasks productively and reliably, while managing conflicting priorities.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
