The Wealth at Work Enterprise Team is part of the Global Citi Wealth organization. We focus on providing wealth management for busy professionals and their firms. We help our clients save, invest, borrow and manage the wealth that they have worked so hard to create.
Having served law firms and consulting firms for over five decades via the Law Firm Group and the Professional Services Group, the model is tried and tested with several tier one law and consulting firms. Wealth at Work’s services are now being extended to the Enterprise sector which includes key industries such as Technology and Healthcare where wealth creation will continue to be on the rise.
The Associate Banker SAFE Act LO is a role that is designed to support Private Bankers in servicing our clients. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding for banking, lending and investments products, processes, systems and work flows. We are looking for individuals who have a growth mindset and are ready to join a fast-paced work culture and growing team. A key strategy for Citi Wealth is to collaborate internally and utilize the resources the bank already has (Citi Commercial Bank, Corporate Bank and Investment Bank). The Associate Banker role requires fantastic organizational skills along with a client centric attitude and approach. We pride ourselves in being responsive by design and expect the Associate Banker on the Wealth at Work Enterprise team to be a fast learner with a deep desire to develop business with clients and provide exceptional service. This requires exceptional problem solving and cross-functional skills internally. Strong communication and writing skills are a must. The AB must often assume informal/formal leadership roles within the team in order to get projects completed in a timely manner. The primary focus for the Enterprise team is the US market with an eye towards expansion globally. Series 7 and 66 are required within 150 days of hire.
An understanding of exec compensation in Tech and Healthcare sectors is a huge plus.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Banker in the creation of sales and marketing strategies designed to generate revenue growth and to acquire new target clients
Partner with Banker on prospecting efforts prospecting - conduct new client/prospect research, generate leads and develop prospects, network to identify referrals to new clients/prospects, and coordinate client events
Utilizing various databases such as RelPro, Pitchbook in order to put together lists of potential clients based on target market
Ability to orchestrate / shepherd deals through internal processes to implementation – effectively partnering with product specialists, RO, IRO, bankers, ICs, etc to establish new relationships and open/fund accounts. Client/prospect meetings - Organize the pre-call planning, organizing post-meeting notes, and maintain all client call records including call reports
Introduce Citi’s value proposition to incoming employees at target firms
Cultivate relationships with firm employees. Source leads and referrals to generate new individual and institutional business
Leverage relationships to understand client needs and deepen Citi’s relationships with existing client
Construct and execute marketing campaigns around our unique and tailored product offerings
Work closely with Investments, Credit, Cash Management, and Financial Planning teams to source opportunities, prepare client pitches, and deliver Citi’s full suite of banking and wealth management solutions to our clients
Provide complete service support to client, including solving complex client inquiries
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
3-7 years of relevant experience
Prior experience in wealth management needed
Ability to manage relationships both internal and external
FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 66 required (or obtained within 150 days)
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$88,400.00 - $140,400.00
