The VP, People & Performance will lead CLEAR’s corporate People strategy and partner closely with senior leaders to drive organizational performance. We are looking for a solutions-oriented change agent who has a proven track record of partnering with business leaders to drive results. This role spans talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, change management, and talent acquisition in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
What you'll do:
- Partner with leaders across the company to retain, develop, and motivate talent.
- Build a deep understanding of business objectives, team dynamics, and priorities.
- Design and execute innovative People strategies that improve organizational effectiveness and drive scalable growth.
- Lead change management and transformation initiatives, ensuring teams are equipped to navigate complexity.
- Oversee Talent Acquisition strategy to attract exceptional corporate talent and strengthen CLEAR’s employer brand.
- Coach and develop leaders to build a culture of accountability, clarity, and continuous improvement.
- Use data and insights to identify issues, opportunities, and trends; prioritize actions and deliver practical, high-impact solutions.
- Execute People programs, including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, and succession, ensuring they deliver intended outcomes.
What you're great at:
- A seasoned People leader with 15+ years of progressive experience, including leadership across talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness and people strategy, ideally in the technology space.
- Proven ability to influence at the executive level, coach leaders, and build trusted partnerships across complex teams.
- Experience in scaling a high-growth environment, balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
- Skilled in leveraging data-driven insights to inform decisions and measure the impact of people programs.
- Exceptional communication, judgement, and change leadership capabilities, with a focus on results and employee experience.
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities
- Adept at building, leading, and developing high-performing People and TA teams that deliver exceptional business outcomes.

The base salary range for this role is $200,000.00-$275,000.00 depending on levels of skills and experience.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units
