Do you have a passion for technology, storytelling, and finding solutions for our customers? Then, you would be the perfect fit as our next Technical Solutions SME!

The Technical Solutions SME acts as a Solutions Expert for their domain; project management and Agile in scoping, creating, and architecting our Codecademy solutions. Technology Solutions SMEs have a passion for technology and are experts in their field who are responsible for the design of customer-focused solutions, including Live training and webinars, and authoring market leading solutions.


  • Assist the sales team in mapping out content to address solutions for specific customer scenarios
  • Create and maintain a series of solution plans for their domain of expertise and provide compelling presentations to customers
  • Prepare for (and pass) industry certifications as needed
  • Create effective and engaging content learning journeys with the learner in mind
  • Provide guidance and coaching to our curriculum team on how to help with customer pin points
  • Provide subject matter expertise for a variety of sales and GTM initiatives
  • Conduct on-going research and develop solutions that will assist the sales cycle
  • Collaboration with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality solutions
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the development and delivery of training/facilitated learning
  • Prior experience in an educational or technology-based organization is ideal
  • As needed author and deliver live training, webinars, or thought leadership peieces
  • Experience in a fast-paced and agile environment is also beneficial in this challenging position


  • Must be willing to pursue additional training and certifications as needed
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills required
  • Technical acumen in Project Management and Agile
  • Ability to contribute in a team-oriented environment, exhibiting cooperation and team spirit, is necessary
  • Flexibility and adaptability in both action and thought are necessary
  • Ability to embrace continuous change and exhibit the adaptability to work within demanding deadlines
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; attention to detail and initiative
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills are a necessity

Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be $74,000 to $117,000 annualized.

We also offer participation in the Company Bonus Program and full benefits. The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
