This is a 12-week internships during summer 2025.

Coinbase is looking for Vendor Risk interns to join the Source to Pay (S2P) team next summer! The team manages the entire lifecycle of vendor engagements, including strategic sourcing, third-party risk management, procurement to pay (P2P), and travel & expense management. We evaluate vendors, handle contract negotiations, manage purchase requests, process payments, and oversee business travel policies. Additionally, the team looks after special operational areas like real estate strategies and contractor requests.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Support projects relating to the regulation and risk mitigation efforts Coinbase undertakes while targeting our goal of top Crypto provider
  • Assist in the execution of spend management projects that accomplish key objectives. Those objectives may include savings, process efficiency, supplier consolidation & management, risk reduction & management, improved transparency & control of expenditures.
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis to aid award recommendations for stakeholder evaluation, consideration and decision-making.
  • Ensure DTP (Desktop Procedures) and written documentation is updated & accurate
    • Identify and document any gaps
  • Support Internal Marketing & Branding through:
    • Training Development
    • Short videos/social media “posts” and other
  • Act as the external-facing representative for Coinbase for vendor communications

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • Ability to work under direction in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize requests and execute on time, in conjunction with your manager
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to dissect problems with senior team members
    • Demonstrated data guided approach to solving problems
  • Experience analyzing data and making recommendations based on numbers

Nice to haves:

  • Currently pursuing an analytical degree or certificate in majors related to finance, legal, or business disciplines.
  • Passionate about Coinbase and the future of digital currency

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
